:: K. Family ::

I had an amazing session with this family about ten days ago.  We headed down to the orchards, one of the most requested locations, and they did not disappoint.  The trees were beautiful, the back lighting was incredible, and the ground was covered with dandelions.  This little guy fell in love with dandelions and we spent the majority of the session playing with them.  I was so happy with the amazing images we came out with.  They are stunning!  It was such a great evening.  Here are a few of my favorites, so far:

We ended the session with a few pictures at the train tracks.  This one, above, is my favorite from the tracks.  Especially because this cute little guy has his room decorated with trains.  Perfect!

:: M. Family ::

On Friday night, we headed to one of my most favorite (and top secret, haha!) locations.  I was really excited to do pictures of this cute family.  I had so much fun with these two cute boys and their parents.  I always get a kick watching the parents of young kids stress a little bit at photo sessions... and I only enjoy it because it's not be on the other end of the camera!  I can just completely relate to the stress.  But, my favorite thing is posting some incredible sneak peeks for these families.  That way they realize the stress was all worth it!

I know the two boys aren't smiling and they both look grumpy, but I just love their little faces so much!  I loved this backdrop so much, but the boys didn't quite love it as much.

Landry liked the tires a lot better when he got to pick his own spot.

Isn't this such a beautiful little family?  I just love them!

Oh, sweet little Corbin!  I think it's torture for babies this age to sit on the grass (so many babies hate sitting on the grass!), but we finally got a teeny little smile from him.

I brought along the Radio Flyer tricycle and once Landry got a hold of that thing, we couldn't get him off of it.  I thought it was pretty adorable!

Look!  Everyone is smiling!  It's pretty much a miracle when you have a baby and a two year old :)

It was a lot of fun and the perfect day for taking family pictures!

:: Paige :: Utah County Bridal Photographer

I wasn't able to post pictures of beautiful Paige's bridal session because her fiance (now husband) hadn't seen her dress.  I filed them away and forgot that I never posted them!  What a shame, because Paige makes a beautiful bride.

We took a few pictures at Salem Pond, but this one was my favorite from that location.

The rest of my pictures were taken in front of (and around) an old run down barn and I absolutely love how they turned out!  I think the reason I loved the location of the run down barn in Paige's bridals is because she was raised as an orchard farmer's daughter.

Paige has been married for about six months now, and it makes me happy to see her so happy!

:: Marc + Chelsi :: Utah County Wedding Photographer

I am in the process of trying to catch up on this blog.  From August until the new year, things were just crazy!  I realized I never did post any pictures from this beautiful wedding!

Marc and Chelsi are some of our close friends and we were so excited to be able to attend their sealing in the beautiful St. George temple.  Marc and Chelsi are one of the strongest couples we know - they have been through so much and are still standing strong together.  They are amazing!

Right when they walked out of the temple, you could see the look of pure happiness on both of their faces.

Marc kept me on my toes while we took pictures.  I think he gave one genuine smile for every ten funny faces.

Chelsi is stunning!

It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple.  We are so lucky to call them our friends!

:: Terry & LeDessa :: Utah County Wedding Photographer

I got the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to photograph a beautiful wedding.  The wedding venue the beautiful Tuscany restaurant in Salt Lake City.  On the way up to the wedding, I was cringing at the weather.  It was freezing cold and snowing!  Lucky for us, we were still able to brave the snow and we ended up getting some beautiful images.   I'm not even half way through the editing, but I thought I'd show some of my favorites so far.

I got to the wedding early enough to sneak into the bridal suite and get some pictures of LeDessa while she was getting ready.

Terry gave LeDessa the beautiful necklace and bracelet - they matched her dress perfectly!

LeDessa and Terry were married in front of these beautiful stained glass windows.  We were still able to see the beautiful outdoors, but without freezing and getting snowed on.  It was perfect!

We took some pictures outside for about 15 minutes before the ceremony and about 15 minutes afterward.  For such a short amount of time, we got some really beautiful images.  It makes it easy when it's such a gorgeous couple!

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful.

It ended up being the perfect, intimate wedding.  Congratulations to LeDessa and Terry!

:: Easton :: Utah County Newborn Photographer

I think that newborn sessions are right up there on my list of favorites.  I love having a couple hours to snuggle with a tiny new little baby but not having to feed them or change their dirty diapers.  Maybe this is what it will feel like to be a Grandma someday?  Hah!  I took pictures of Easton when he was just six days old.  He was so tiny and so precious!  I think he may have been the easiest baby I've ever done pictures of.  He was pretty content the whole entire time.  When he was hungry, he didn't fuss at all.  Instead, he just tried to suck on anything he could get his little mouth on.  He was so adorable!  At the end of the session, we were able to snap a couple quick pictures of Easton and his big sister, Ellie.  I did pictures of Ellie a couple years ago so it was a lot of fun to see how much she had grown!  Here are a few of my favorites from this session so far:
