:: Nathan & Alishia's Bridals & Groomals :: Utah County Wedding Photographer

A couple of weekends ago, I headed back down to the Manti, Utah LDS Temple for a Bridal and Groomal session.  The weather forecast called severe thunderstorms all afternoon and through the evening.  I was so nervous!  It was far enough away from me (in Santaquin) and far enough away from Alishia (in Beaver) that we couldn't tell what the weather was like, but we decided to risk it and go anyway.  It was the right choice.  This was such an amazing session and I am just thrilled with the images we got.  They turned out absolutely gorgeous.  The best part will be next weekend, after the wedding, when we don't have to stress about time and not getting enough pictures of Nathan and Alishia outside the temple.

Alishia's wedding colors are yellow, grey, and a little burnt orange.  We thought it was perfect that the flowers outside the temple matched her colors.

The best part about the severe thunderstorm warnings was the gorgeous clouds.  They helped make some stunning pictures!

I loved the little touches they brought: yellow heels, fun socks, and the yellow umbrella.

Nathan and Alishia are getting married next weekend.  It should be a fun filled day!

:: Chad & Mandy, Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple :: Utah County Wedding Photographer

I was going through some of the sessions I've done this summer when I realized I never posted about Chad & Mandy's wedding.  Cad and Mandy were married in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple.  I could tell they were so incredibly happy when they walked out of the temple as husband and wife.

Mandy's bouquet was beautiful!  I loved the little splashes of the white flowers throughout it.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

:: Paul & Tahnee's Wedding, Manti LDS Temple :: Utah County Wedding Photographer

Paul and Tahnee's wedding was absolutely beautiful.  We were lucky enough to be invited to the actual wedding (sealing) in the Manti LDS Temple.  It was my first time ever being inside the Manti Temple (and only my second or third ever seeing the outside) and it was absolutely stunning.  It set the mood perfectly for the whole entire day.

Mr. & Mrs. Marshall!

It was a busy day at the Manti LDS Temple, we had to (im)patiently wait our turn for the stairs for the big group pictures.

Unfortunately, the sealing went a little longer than expected so we only had about 45 minutes to do all of their pictures.  Including the big group shots.  Ah!  We rushed and rushed and made it work, but I really wish we would have had more time to spend doing more pictures of Paul and Tahnee by themselves.

I technically wasn't hired to do pictures at the reception, but I brought along my camera to make sure to get a picture of the bouquet and rings and the cake.  The reception was beautiful!  Tahnee did all the decorations by herself and they turned out absolutely perfect.

The beautiful wedding cake.

Tahnee had the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen!  I loved the combination of roses, berries, and the brain plants (I had no idea what they were really called, but thanks to google I learned they are called cockscomb).  Beautiful!

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Marshall!

:: Mia - 8 Days Old :: Utah County Newborn Photographer

I had an incredible newborn session with tiny little Mia last Thursday.  She was only eight days old and she was a dream to pose.  I always tell parents the earlier you can do pictures, the better.  She was proof why!  It took a little love (and the warm little space heater), but she did a good job staying how I wanted her too.  She was so tiny and so precious!  Here are a couple of my favorites from the session:

:: Tahnee's Bridals :: Utah County Wedding Photographer

I have been waiting to post the images from this session for almost a month!  Tahnee and Paul went the traditional route and Paul wasn't allowed to see Tahnee in her wedding dress before the wedding, which is why I haven't been able to post these gorgeous images until now.  Tahnee looked absolutely breath taking in her dress and her hair was so pretty!  I was shocked when she told me she did her hair all by herself.  Amazing!  Here are a few favorites from my session with Tahnee:

Tahnee also made her own veil.  I thought it was so elegant!

Tahnee and Paul were married this past weekend.  I am so happy for them!  I'll have to post some of their wedding images soon.

:: Paul & Tahnee :: Utah County Engagement Photographer

Meet my cute friend, Tahnee:

Not too long ago, Tahnee met the man of her dreams.  I think the story of how they were set up and how the whole relationship went down is pretty amazing.  I have loved being able to see her fall in love and get engaged!  I did her engagements awhile back (almost a month ago, actually) and I'm just barely getting around to posting some of my favorites.  This session was probably the most fun engagement session I've ever done.  It was short and sweet and I'm pretty sure we spent more time laughing than we did taking pictures, thanks to Paul.

Tahnee and Paul's wedding is only a few weeks away now... I can't believe it!  I did Tahnee's bridals last week and I'm dying to post them... unfortunately for me, I have to wait until after the wedding.  Congrats to Tahnee and Paul!

:: Hailey Jean - Two Years Old :: Utah County Children's Photographer, Provo UT Baby Photographer

My baby turned two (!) on May 1st.  I patiently waited for all the stars to align (good lighting when it wasn't bedtime or nap time, a free evening, the bows and pediromper delivered, etc.) and they finally did a couple weeks after her birthday.  When my friend Summer brought me the bows and the pedirompers, I was beyond excited to get out there and do Hailey's pictures.  The bows and the rompers were so adorable!  Summer owns the Pretty Baby Bowtique and I can't get over how beautiful her girly accessories are.  I did the shoot during the day while my husband was at work and I quickly remembered why I don't like doing pictures of my own kids without his help.  It was a lot of work!  Little Miss Hailey thought it was a fun game to run away from me and she really made me work for the smiles she gave me.  I just can't believe my little preemie baby is already two years old.  Special thanks again to Summer for the perfect accessories.  Make sure to check out her etsy store (http://www.etsy.com/shop/prettybabybowtique) to see all of the amazing stuff she makes.  Here are some of my favorites from the session with Hailey:

One last shout out to my amazing sister, Elisa.  She made Hailey the adorable "2" shirt for her birthday.  I wish I had her sewing skills and her patience.
